Customs procedures
A customs procedure is the set of conditions that determine the status of goods and the manner of their use in the customs territory. The EAEU has several procedures: release for domestic consumption, export, transit, customs warehouse, processing, temporary admission and others.
The choice of procedure determines which payments and restrictions apply to the goods. The most common on import is release for domestic consumption; for transport under control it is customs transit; for returns it is re-export and re-import.
