What controls do food products undergo at customs?
Food products are subject to sanitary control, while goods of animal and plant origin undergo veterinary or phytosanitary control with the relevant documents. Some goods require import permits. We work through all types of control in advance for your product range.
Is a declaration of conformity required for food products?
Yes, food products are cleared under TR CU 021 "On food safety" and the relevant specialised regulations (labelling, dairy, meat, fats-and-oils products, etc.) — this means a declaration of conformity. For special products (baby food, dietary food, dietary supplements) an SGR is required. We select the necessary documents.
Do food products require "Chestny Znak" labelling?
Mandatory labelling applies to a number of categories — dairy products, packaged water, certain beverages, dietary supplements and other goods on the official list. The codes are applied before the goods enter circulation. We will tell you what needs to be labelled and help you with the procedure.
How are shelf life and temperature conditions taken into account?
For perishable products, shelf life and maintaining the temperature regime along the entire route are critical, so clearance is planned to avoid delaying the cargo. We coordinate logistics and customs clearance so that the goods are released on time.
