How do I clear used equipment through customs?
Importing used equipment is possible; an expert examination or technical assessment may be required to confirm the value and specifications. It is important to correctly declare the condition, year of manufacture and customs value. We work through the documents and complete clearance without unnecessary delays.
How do I determine the HS code for machine tools?
The code depends on the type of machine tool, its purpose and operating principle — metalworking, woodworking and packaging lines are classified differently, and the rates differ too. An error in the code leads to additional charges. We select the correct HS code based on the technical data sheet.
