TIR carnet
A TIR carnet is an international customs document for the road transport of goods under the TIR system. It provides a guarantee that duties will be paid and simplifies border crossings without inspection at intermediate customs offices.
The TIR system speeds up international road transport: the cargo travels under customs control with a single guarantee. It is used for transport between countries party to the TIR Convention.
