Documentary collection
Documentary collection is a form of international settlement in which the bank, on the seller's instructions, hands the buyer the shipping documents against payment or acceptance of a bill of exchange. The bank acts as an intermediary but does not guarantee payment.
Collection is cheaper than a letter of credit but offers the seller weaker protection: the bank is not liable for the buyer's payment. Suitable for trusted partners.
We will help you structure settlements under the contract and clear currency control.
