Institute Cargo Clauses (ICC)
The Institute Cargo Clauses (ICC) are standard cargo insurance terms of the London Institute of Underwriters. Clause A provides the broadest coverage ("all risks"), while B and C offer limited, listed-risks coverage.
ICC A is used for expensive and sensitive cargo, while B and C are used for goods resistant to risks. The choice of clause directly affects the premium and the scope of payouts.
