Multimodal transport
Multimodal transport is the delivery of cargo by two or more modes of transport (for example, sea plus rail plus road) under a single contract with one responsible operator.
Combining modes of transport optimises time and cost: for example, by sea to the port, then by rail and road to the warehouse. The key is the coordination of the transfer points and documents.
We design the multimodal route and handle customs clearance.
