Registration certificate (medical devices)
A registration certificate is a document issued by Roszdravnadzor that confirms the registration of a medical device and authorises its circulation in Russia. It is mandatory for most medical devices.
The registration procedure depends on the device's risk class. For importing medical equipment for registration, testing or exhibitions, special schemes apply. Without a registration certificate a medical device cannot be placed on the market.
