Subrogation
Subrogation is the transfer to the insurer that has paid the indemnity of the right of claim against the party responsible for the loss (for example, the carrier). The insurer recovers what it paid from the party at fault.
Thanks to subrogation the insured receives the payout faster, while the insurer takes on the dispute with the party at fault. For this it is important to preserve the documents and the rights of claim.
