Demand for payment of customs duties
A demand (notice) for payment of customs duties is a document by which the customs authority requires payment of arrears in duties, taxes and penalties identified during control or adjustment. It states the amounts and the payment deadline.
The demand can be complied with or appealed if the additional charge is unjustified. Missing the deadline leads to enforced collection, so you need to respond promptly.
We will assess the validity of the demand and prepare an appeal or a calculation.
