"Chestny Znak" labeling
"Chestny Znak" is the national system of mandatory digital labeling of goods. Each unit is assigned a unique code, and the movement of goods is traced from the manufacturer to the point of sale.
Labeling is mandatory for a growing list of categories: footwear, perfume and eau de toilette, certain items of clothing and textiles, dairy products, water, dietary supplements and other goods. The codes are applied before the goods enter circulation.
When importing, it is important to determine in advance whether the goods are subject to labeling and to arrange the application of codes, otherwise they cannot be sold legally.
