CPT (Carriage Paid To)
CPT (Carriage Paid To) — an Incoterms rule under which the seller pays for delivery to the agreed place, but the risk of loss passes to the buyer already on handover of the goods to the first carrier.
As with FCA, paid carriage does not equal transferred risk: it passes earlier, at the point of departure. It applies to any mode of transport.
We will take CPT terms into account when calculating costs and clearing goods.
