Declaration of customs value (DTS)
DTS is the declaration of customs value: a document explaining by which method and from which components the declared customs value of the goods was formed.
The DTS is filed together with the customs declaration when required, and shows the structure of the value: the contract price and the added costs. It helps customs verify the validity of the declared value.
A carefully prepared DTS supported by documents reduces the likelihood of an additional check and value adjustment.
