Export control (FSTEC)
Export control is a system of state control over the movement of goods and technologies that can be used for military purposes (dual-use). In Russia it is overseen by FSTEC.
Goods are checked against the control lists; where necessary, an identification assessment is carried out and a permit (licence) is obtained. It is best to run the check before the contract in order to assess whether the supply is feasible.
