Marking code (Data Matrix)
The marking code is a unique digital code in Data Matrix format applied to the packaging of goods in the “Chestny Znak” system. It is used to trace the path of the goods from the manufacturer or importer to the buyer.
The importer must order the codes and mark the goods before releasing them into circulation (often at a warehouse abroad or at a customs warehouse). Each unit gets its own code, which is withdrawn from circulation upon sale.
