Exchange rate at the date of declaration registration
Exchange rate for customs payments — the rate of the Central Bank of Russia at which the customs value and payments are converted into roubles. The rate on the day of registration of the goods declaration is applied, not the date of the contract or payment.
Because of this, the amount of payments depends on the rate on the day the customs declaration is submitted — amid volatility this affects the deal's budget. Clearance should be planned taking exchange rate fluctuations into account.
