Parallel import
Parallel import is the import of genuine branded products without the consent of the rights holder. In Russia it is permitted for goods and brands on the list approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The mechanism concerns only genuine goods (not counterfeit) and operates according to an approved list that changes periodically. Clearance follows the general rules, with confirmation of authenticity and origin.
Before shipment it is important to check whether the brand and the commodity position are on the current list.
