Inward processing
Inward processing is a customs procedure under which foreign goods are imported for processing with conditional relief from import duties and taxes, and the processed products are then exported.
The procedure is used in manufacturing and toll-processing arrangements. It requires a processing permit and compliance with output rates and time limits. There are also outward processing and processing for domestic consumption.
We advise on processing procedures.
