Vehicle safety certificate (SBKTS)
SBKTS is the vehicle design safety certificate: it confirms that an imported car meets the requirements of technical regulation TR CU 018. It is required to issue an EPTS.
An SBKTS is issued for individually imported cars (not series-produced) after the design is checked in an accredited laboratory. The EPTS is issued on the basis of the SBKTS.
