State Registration Certificate (SGR)
SGR is the State Registration Certificate, issued by the Rospotrebnadzor authorities and confirming the safety of certain types of products (some cosmetics, household chemicals, baby and specialized nutrition, etc.).
An SGR is required where sanitary and epidemiological safety matters. To obtain it, the product's composition and its compliance with sanitary requirements are assessed.
Whether a product requires an SGR or a declaration of conformity is sufficient depends on its type and purpose, and this is determined before import.
