SMGS consignment note
The SMGS consignment note is a rail transport document for international freight carriage under the Agreement on International Goods Transport by Rail (SMGS). It is used across the "1520 space" and in traffic with China, Mongolia and a number of countries.
The SMGS note accompanies the cargo and confirms the rail carriage contract. At the junction with the European gauge, an SMGS/CIM transfer is arranged. The note's data is used in customs clearance.
We will arrange rail delivery and clearance.
