Judicial appeal of customs decisions
A judicial appeal is the challenging of decisions, actions or omissions of a customs authority in the commercial court. It is used in disputes over adjustment of customs value, classification, additional charges of payments and refund of overpayments.
Case law on customs disputes is extensive, and with a solid evidence base the chances are high. The claim is filed within the set deadline and is often preceded by an administrative appeal.
