Refund and offset of customs payments

A refund (offset) of customs payments is the procedure for refunding or offsetting overpaid or over-collected duties, taxes, and fees, for example after a customs value adjustment (CVA) is cancelled or the HS code is changed.

To obtain a refund, an application with supporting documents is filed within the set deadline. It is often more convenient to arrange an offset against future payments on the ELS.

We prepare the documents and support the refund or offset of the overpayment.
