Tariff quota
A tariff quota is a set volume of imports of a particular good within which a reduced duty rate applies. Once the volume is exceeded, the ordinary, higher rate applies.
Quotas are introduced for individual goods (often agricultural products) by decisions of the EEC and are distributed among importers. It is important to check in advance whether a quota exists and how much of it remains.
We check whether a tariff quota applies to your goods.
