Transshipment

Transshipment — the transfer of cargo from one vessel to another at an intermediate hub port on the way to the port of destination. It is often used when there is no direct sailing.

Transshipment lengthens the transit time and adds a point of risk, but it expands the delivery geography. It is stated in the route and the bill of lading.

We will select a route taking transshipments into account and clear the cargo.
