Measuring instrument type approval
Measuring instrument type approval is the procedure of entering a measuring instrument into the state register of measuring instruments with the issue of a certificate. It is required for instruments used in the sphere of state regulation (meters, scales, pressure gauges).
Without type approval, such instruments cannot be used for commercial metering or be verified. When importing measuring equipment, this is one of the key permit documents.
