Electronic declaration centre

Electronic declaration centre — a specialised customs authority that concentrates the release of electronic declarations. The split between the declaration centre (documentary control) and the actual-control posts is part of the clearance reform.

The declaration is submitted to the centre regardless of where the goods are physically located; actual control, if needed, is carried out by the presence post. This speeds up and depersonalises clearance.

We will clear the declaration through the relevant electronic declaration centre.
