Goods identification
Goods identification is the establishing of a product's exact characteristics (composition, purpose, technical parameters) in order to correctly determine the HS code, permit requirements, and control-list checks (dual-use).
Accurate identification is critical: the code, the rate, and the need for licences and notifications all depend on it. It is especially important for complex equipment, chemicals, and electronic components.
