Countervailing duty

A countervailing duty is a market protection measure applied to goods in whose production or export specific subsidies of the exporting country were used, causing injury to an EAEU industry. It is introduced by decision of the EEC in addition to the regular duty.

Alongside anti-dumping and special safeguard duties, countervailing duties are part of the measures protecting the domestic market. It is important to check in advance whether such a measure applies to your goods and country.

We will check the market protection measures and factor them into the calculation.
