Vehicle type approval (VTA)
Vehicle type approval (VTA) is a document confirming that serially imported or manufactured vehicles conform to the requirements of technical regulation TR CU 018. For single imported vehicles an SBKTS (individual conformity certificate) is issued.
The VTA is obtained by manufacturers or official representatives for serial batches; on its basis an electronic vehicle passport (EPTS) is issued. For a single import, an SBKTS is used.
