Advance information (pre-arrival information)
Advance information is the mandatory transfer to the customs authority of details about the goods and transport before their arrival at the EAEU customs border. It speeds up operations at the checkpoint.
Using the advance information, customs assesses the risks in advance, so clearance at the border proceeds faster. For certain types of transport, advance information is mandatory within set deadlines before arrival.
