Country of origin
The country of origin is the country in which goods are wholly produced or sufficiently processed. It determines the application of tariff preferences, anti-dumping measures and prohibitions.
Origin is confirmed by a certificate of origin (ST-1, form A, EUR.1). It determines whether the duty will be reduced or zeroed under a preference and whether the goods fall under restrictions.
