Temporary storage warehouse (SVH)
SVH is a temporary storage warehouse: a specially equipped place where goods are held under customs control from the moment of arrival until release or placement under a customs procedure.
Goods are placed at a temporary storage warehouse while declaration and document checks are ongoing. Storage at the warehouse is chargeable, so the faster the documents are prepared, the lower the costs.
Timely filing of the declaration helps shorten the time the cargo spends at the warehouse and the associated costs.
