Goods for personal use
Goods for personal use are goods imported by an individual for personal or family needs not related to business. A simplified clearance procedure and duty-free import allowances apply to them.
The status is determined by customs based on the nature, quantity and frequency of import. Exceeding the allowances or clearly commercial batches are subject to payments and are cleared as ordinary imports.
We will advise where the line lies between personal and commercial import.
