Release for domestic consumption (IM40)
Release for domestic consumption (IM40) is the main customs procedure for imports: once duties, taxes, and prohibitions are complied with, the goods acquire EAEU status and can be freely used within the country.
This is the most common procedure when importing for sale or use in Russia. It requires a full set of documents, payment of duties and taxes, and confirmation of conformity where mandatory.
