Rights holder
Rights holder — the person who owns the rights to a trademark or other intellectual property object. When importing branded goods, their consent may be required (except in cases allowed for parallel import).
The rights holder enters the brand in the customs register of IP objects and initiates protection against counterfeits. It is important for the importer to confirm the right to import: a dealer agreement, permission or inclusion in the parallel import list.
