Customs register of IP objects
The customs register of intellectual property objects — if a trademark is entered in the register, customs controls the import of such goods and may suspend release when there are signs of infringement of rights.
Entry in the customs register of IP objects is a tool for the rights holder against counterfeits and 'grey' imports. It is important for the importer to check in advance whether the brand is in the register and to have the rights holder's consent.
