Customs inspection
A customs inspection is a form of customs control in which goods are examined with the opening of packaging, recounting and, if necessary, the taking of samples. It is assigned by decision of the risk management system.
An inspection differs from an examination (without opening). It increases the time and cost of clearance (warehouse services, loading and unloading), so correct documents and declared information reduce the likelihood of it being assigned.
