Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)
AEO is the Authorized Economic Operator: an organization from the FCS register that has obtained special simplifications when performing customs operations (for example, priority handling and expedited release of goods).
AEO status confirms the reliability of a foreign-trade participant and provides advantages: fewer checks, release of goods before filing the declaration and other simplifications. To obtain it, a number of conditions regarding financial stability and accounting must be met.
